TalVista was co-founded by Elaine Orler and Scot Sessions in April of 2018. Their combined passion is based in helping people achieve their best self without regard for their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or physical ability. Founded on principles of equality and diversity, together they believed more needed to be and could be done to ensure more conscious decisions in the recruiting and hiring process were made possible through technolgy.
Conscious inclusion is the result of being aware of your personal preferences. Personal preference is another way of saying bias, both conscious and unconscious. The founders believe that technology plays an important role in helping candidates, recruiters, and hiring leaders maintain awareness of their bias and provides a framework to be more conscious of these biases and work not to be influenced by them while making recruiting and hiring decisions.
