TalVista 2.2.0 release notes

Our engineers have been hard at work adding enhancements and squashing bugs. We have several major additions to the platform including Company Content management for Admins where interview questions are now managed along with company skills and values, A la cart access, and improving our Redacted Resume Review progress bar.

The 2.2.0 release is scheduled to be deployed on May 11, 2019. The platform will be placed in maintenance mode for a short time from 4:00am through 7:00am MST. During this time the platform will be offline to deploy the 2.2.0 release. The full release notes are below.

Enhancements

Company Content – Questions management

The Admin->Company Content section now includes the ability to manage Interview Questions similar to how Skills and Values are managed. This page has also been modified to break out these three sections separately.

The Questions section has been broken out between Skills and Values Questions versus Project and Miscellaneous Questions. Questions in Green are linked to Skills and Questions in Blue are linked to Values. The new page first displays pending questions awaiting approval followed by approved questions.

 

Allow/disallow owners to add/request questions

The Admin Settings includes a new feature to turn On or Off the ability for Owners to add Interview Questions. If Off, new questions must be approved by an Admin per the new feature described above.

 

Ability to limit access to modules (TV Super feature)

TalVista now has a tenant Super setting that controls access to our three main modules: Job Description Optimization, Blind Resume Review, and Structured Interviews. If Off, then users are not allowed to navigate to those modules (ex: Job Description Optimizer is On, Blind Resume Review and/or Structured Interviews Off). This feature allows for a la cart module access.

Talvista API

The Talvista API now accepts variable data points for user permission. Permission types now include: Owner, Reviewer, and Interviewer.

Improved Resume Review Progress Bar

Now when adding multiple resumes the progress bar reflects the correct amount of resumes attached to each job.

 

Cancel button to Edit Job Description page

The Edit Job Description page has been updated to mimic the Edit Job page with a new Cancel button.

Bugs

Assign Interview window (Interview Link, Interview Notes PDF for Integration, Corrected Undefined Interview Links, Save/Close Interview Assignment Window)

Corrected several issues in the Interviews module including missing and undefined interview links, adding Save and Close button functions, updating Help hyperlinks, and refining Interview Notes PDF files created for integration.

 

Updated help hyperlink on Interview Overview Page

Updated link on the interview overview page takes the user to Talvista-Interview Best Practices page.

User notifications settings

Corrected a refresh issue that showed notifications either On/Off without changing the actual status of the notification.

Corrected Get Help Link in resume upload

IE 11 Misaligned Interview Link Button

Interview link button is now properly aligned in IE 11 browser.

IE 11 Print Function on Resume Review

Users can now print resumes in IE 11.

Skills/Values Adding

Corrected a bug where users were not able to add/edit Skills and Values in the “Add/Edit Job Description” window.
